Mother ship … errh company Sony has decided to team up with memory manufacturer Qimonda to create a joint venture working with development and manufacturing of DRAM circuits. They will be designing products for both the retail and graphics market under the new name Qreatic Design. The parties will each own 50% of the new company, which will be based in Tokyo and open its doors during the fourth quarter. As usual money and financing are the key elements behind the joint venture, as they will be able to build a much more cost-efficient company when sharing technology and production costs.
