Sony expects to win with Blu-ray within 12 months

The next generation DVD-format will be decided in less than 12 months, at least if we are to believe Sony. Sony is the leading company inth e group who supports the Blu-ray format which has yet again shown its trust in its own format. After that information on HD DVD’s delayed launch appeared, which was toned down by Toshiba, responsible people at Sony Pictures has said that Blu-ray will be dominating the market within a period of 12 months. Not enterily unexoected it believes that PlayStation 3 and its Blu-ray support will be the final nail in HD DVD’s coffin.
