Spotswood Custom Computers has introduces a truly unique enthusiast-oriented PC case, I’ve seen many creations in my time, but this one really stands out. There are many ways to design a case, but this one was new to me. The L-24 is shaped like a bass drum with a circular shape, tons of space for components and especially designed for water cooling. Triple fan radiator, two 5.25″ devices and 15(!) 3.5″ harddrives can be housed inside the case.
The case is made from maple veneer plywood, which is both strong and lightweight. The case has fittings for 12 fans, and a removable ATX motherboard tray (can be had in acrylic). USB 2.0, FireWire and audio I/O ports are mounted in the front of the case. All details are either chrome plated or polished stainless steel.
The price is a bit high though, $599 + shipping, but you get to choose from a variety of colors; Natural, Light Oak, Dark Oak, Candy Apple Red, Golden Yellow, Blue and Purple, and several personal customizations.
Plastic side panels are removable
