Stanford has made another update to its Folding@Home GPU client and added support for the latest graphics cards from AMD. You can now use your Radeon HD 2000 and 3000 series card for folding with this new beta client. There have been some reports where drivers from third parties makes it impossible for the client to detect the graphics card properly. People who want to contribute are recommended to fetch drivers directly from AMD’s website instead. The latest open beta GPU client can be found over at professor Vijah Pande’s blog.
