MSI recently published a press release which tells of a load of graphics cards that have been stolen and have now started to appear for sale online. The graphics cards are based on the GeForce 7900GS circuit and is not really intended for the retail market and it is easy to distinguish the real and fake cards. The stolen cards namely have a green PCB and look just like NVIDIA’s referece card, while MSI’s retail version of 7900GS has a red PCB, new cooler and yellow DVI outputs. MSI hopes that consumers will assist them and help them to find the stolen cards and at the same time announce that these cards does not, for obvious reasons, come with any warranty.
