SuperTalent has now expanded its lineup of DDR3 modules and among the new ones we find some very interesting pieces. The new lineup starts with W1333UB2G8, which is a kit of two 1GB modules running at 1333MHz and 8-8-8-18 timings, but the most interesting ones (to us at least) are the two DDR3-1600 kits. One with 7-7-7-18 timings (W1600UX2G7) and one with 9-9-9-21 timings (W16000UX2G9). All three kits come with a higher than standard operating voltage, 1.8V (instead of 1.5V). Early tests have shown that the W16000UX2G9 modules are capable of more than 2GHz at 7-7-7 latencies at 2.25V. Although in single channel, but still pretty good. DDR3 is certainly looking better and better for every day that passes.
