SuperTalent seems to be planning something big with its DDR3 modules this year already. According to a roadmap that Chilehardware has come across, SuperTalent is planning to launch DDR3 modules running at 2133MHz before the end of the year. These will have CL9 latencies and will be a part of SuperTalent’s low-latency series. Timings of 9 at 2133 has to be considered pretty tight to be honest. SuperTalent will also launch modules running at 1866MHz with CL10 timings before the end of the year and these will perhaps be a bit more moderately priced, although we know nothing about the price of either.

SuperTalent has designed a number of new coolers to keep the modules at decent temperatures and some of them can be seen below, the rest over at ChileHardware.

The transition from DDR2 to DDR3 seems to be going a lot better than the previous one from DDR to DDR2. This time the successor is actually faster than the previous generation.
