SuperTalent has several multiple flash memory solutions on the market and not the least its USB 3.0-based solutions. As the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard has developed and been optimized we can see the potential of its USB 3.0 RAIDDrive memory.
SuperTalent has tested its powerfiö USB 3.0 memory with a new USB controller circuits from Fresco Logic, which has resulted in an impressive performance lift without any changes made to the memory. It reached speeds up to 371.7 MB/s, which is 55 MB/s higher than the last reported speed. Not only is it a feather in the hat for SuperTalent, but shows the difference there is between different USB 3.0 ckontrollers.
SuperTalent calls its USB 3.0 RAIDDrive the world’s fastest storage unit, and from a retail perspective it’s hard to argue. Not the least if we also consider the mere size of it. The prize is the bad news where the 64GB version costs 290€, but that gives you a SSD RAID 0 configuration in pocket format.
