We’ve entered the fourth day of the Swedish Performance Championship 2005 and even if many are still working on tweaking and improving their results, and finally sending them in, we’ve noticed that some have shown from the start where the bar should be. Marcus “Kinc” Hultin, the favorite of the 3Dmark05 category with his current world record at 18 614 points, has already set a tough score to beat in this year’s championship. This weekend he has once again set up his rig and now published a result at 18 427 points. Just 200 points shy of his own world record! This is a mighty impressive start and tends for a good continuing. Whether someone can compete with Kinc about the first place is hard to say, but it will be tough. In the 3Dmark05 category Dennis “iQ” Johansson has uploaded a very respectable result at 13 505 points with two GeForce 7800 GT graphic cards. But we can guarantee that it will take more than that to take home the second place which Dennis currently holds. In Percentual Overclocking we see the regular stand off with a lot of hush hush and none of the tipped favorites have so far uploaded any results, we haven’t even seen a score past 100% yet, but there is still a lot of time left so it’s just a matter of time. We hope to see more results soon and no results is too low to be pulished, everyone has a chance of a short period of fame! We would like to point out that cheating will of course not be tolerated and you will be disqualified, with possible repercussions such as life-time ban from the competition. //NordicHardware Crew
