Team Group has announced that its latest addition to the new and ever-faster DDR3 race is now available in stores. The TXD32048M1600HC8DC is a kit of two 1GB modules running at 1600MHz with 7-7-7-21 timings. The operating voltage is 1.8V, which is slightly above the standard 1.5V, but pretty much the same as all other 1600MHz modules. Team Group says it is very pleased with the performance of the modules and that close to 90% of all kits have been able to to do more than 2GHz in the lab. The kit is available in stores today and has a recommended price of $635, but Newegg has a special offer at $589.
