One Laptop Per Child recently reached a milestone as it pressented the first working prototype of the 100$ laptop which will be sold to third world countries to broaden the computer experience for the unpriviliged kids. The project is nonprofit and is suppose to be completely humanitarian, but at CoolTechZone they’ve published an article which brings up some different hidden motives of the companies supporting the project. AMD, Apple, Google and more are all part of the project and the question is if they are really doing it of good will, or if they have some other reason they aren’t telling us.
