The multi core processor market will expand

Processors with multiple cores has already become more or less of a standard and during next year a large portion of the processors sold will be multi core models. The analysts at iSuppli has recently announced that it expects a hugh growth for the multi core market the coming ten years as the use of multi core processors will increase on all markets, from PC and mobile to servers. Even the video game console is an important part of this where both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 uses processors with several cores. Multi core is here to stay and going from about 15 million shipped multi core processors during 2005 they expect during 2015 that 638 million multi core processors will be shipped.
