ThermalTake had some secrets hiding back at CeBIT, products they weren’t entirely sure if they would reveal. Fortunately they decided to reveal the case with a built in mini-compressor cooling. Hexus got a chance to come close and take pictures of the quite cool solution. Thermaltake has placed a condenser where the regular rear fan goes and a small compressor on the floor of the case. Copper wires connect the condenser and compressor and the large block seated over the processor.
The problem with this solution is that the copper wires are stiff and just a minor layout glitch would ruin the whole idea. Whether this is a product that will reach the market remains to be seen, but we’re certainly hoping Thermaltake solves the problem of the varying layouts.
