Tip of the day! – Disable “Clean up your desktop”-wizard

The tip of the day! will show you how to disable to reappearing notification Windows XP shows when it thinks you don’t use certain icons on the desktop enough.

Those who wants to disable this warning:

Start the registry editor.
Start > Run > “regedit”
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\CleanupWiz
Find the DWORD “NoRun” in the right field, if there is none simply create it. Set the value to 1.

Or change the value of “Days between clean up” to something more suitable.
