The tip of the day is quite useful if qork a lot with Word (Word 2003) and wants to optimise the program. The scroll bars might nice at some occations, but sometimes they are only distracting and therefor we will show you how to get rid of them.
If you’re working with a regular document the horizontal scroll bar is quite useless and there are similar occations when you can do without them.
To hide the scroll bars do as follows:
1. In Word, click Options in the Tools.menu.
2. Got View.
3. Decheck Horizontal and Vertical scroll bar.
This way you get rid of the bars, but can still use the mouse or keyboard to scroll in the document.
