Tip of the day! – Remove the Windows XP boot logo

The tip of the day! will show you how you can remove the boot-logo that appears when you boot up Windows XP. This will make the process alittle faster, but beware that any messages diaplyed during the bootprocess will be missed.

– Start MSCONFIG by typing “msconfig” in Run
– Pick the Boot.ini tab
– Check the “/noguiboot”-box

After a reboot the logo should be gone. If you want it back just reverse the process.
