Tip of the day! – Smaller thumbnails

0

If you are one of those who enjoy the thumbnail-veiw in folders you will find the tip of the day very useful.

Start the Registry editor:
Start > Run > “regedit”

Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Create the DWORD-value “ThumbnailSize” and set it to a figure between 32 and 256 where 100 is default. Lower value means smaller thumbnails.

You can also change the quality of the preview with the DWORD-value “ThumbnailQuality”, which can be set to a figure between 50 and 100 where 81 is defualt.

I have a tip to share!
