Toshiba started the glasses-free 3D with Regza GL1 and brings it to new markets with Qosmio F750 3D and it as made sure to make the most of the 3D technology. The biggest disadvantage with no-gasses 3D is that you can only see 3D effects from a specific angle. By using the webcamera and tracking the viewer the computer changes this 3D angles to follow your position. You can only watch it from one angle, which means your friends on the sides won’t experience what you are seeing, but is still a good enough technology for most.
Toshiba has also solved so that you can show 2D and 3D material at the same time. You can for example show a 3D movie while working in Word in the background.
Toshiba Qosmio F750 3D is expected to cost around $2,000 and arrive in Europe in August.
