Transcend is one of the companies that has launched products using Solid State Drive technology and the latest product using flash-based storage from Transcend uses the external ExpressCard interface. The harddrives also sports USB 2.0 to make it compatible with practically all computers and strengthening its focus on portability. The 16GB harddrive can be used for Vista’s ReadyBoost feature and brings support for ECC (Error Correction Code) to ensure the integrity of the data. Models with 2GB, 4GB and 8GB of space will also be available. Prices and availability is not available as of today.
