Turbo-Cool 850 SSI is the name of PCPowerCooling’s latest creation and yes it is a power supply out of the ordinary. As processors and graphic cards drain more and more power the demands on today’s power supplys are getting higher and higher as we speak. Just the thought of NVIDIA’s G70-graphics circuit (approx. 200W) makes you seriously doubt whether today’s power supplys will be able to cope with such a drain of power. In a future high end-system 500W won’t get you far and then maybe Turbo-Cool 850 SSI might be the answer to your praires at a whopping 850W!
Turbo-Cool 850 SSI will according to its specifications be able to deliver a continous output at 850W and a maximum of 950W, I.e. a single PSU. Cool 850 SSI may not look much to the world but if this isn’t enough to power your computer you’re seriously in trouble.
