Ubuntu 7.04, also known as Feisty Fawn, will be released this Thursday, but already the organization has released some of the key elements of this update. To ease the migration from Windows they’ve developed a migration assistant for this very purpose. The support for wireless networking has been improved and completed the multimedia support making Ubuntu a more complete system. At the same time as Ubuntu arrives we will also see new version of Kubuntu and Edubuntu being released. The first using KDE instead of gnome, while the latter focuses on education. Today’s Ubuntu users will of course be able to update free of charge.
