Ubuntu is on the front among companies who wants to establish Linux as a serious alternative to Microsoft’s Windows. TechNewsWorld has now published an article where they take a look at Ubuntu and its goals. Simple and easy to use are the keys, but according to those they have spoken with Ubuntu doesn’t use this as well as they could. Instead trying to get a hold of the server of the company they should try to tie up the clients. Although, they do point out that Ubuntu has managed to do very well for the short period of time it has been around and by marketing itself as an experience and not as Linux they’ve managed to create a nisch, which could lead to that we get a second operating system that manages to break free from the *NIX association, just as Mac OS has managed to do.
