USB Brando is a store that focuses on selling and developing various USB accessories, and have now announced a new keyboard that has caught our interest. Even though the name is quite plain, USB 2.4Ghz RF Wireless Multimedia Tiny Keyboard, it says it all about the target audience. You connect an USB RF transmitter to the computer and is then ready to use the petite keyboard with multimedia functions well suited for HTPC systems and such.
The possibly most interesting is the integrated trackball with 1000DPI resolution that should prove a lot more precise than, e.g. the guide pin on Microsoft’s Media Center keyboard. Brando seems to have covered most of the features an HTPC user wants.

The truly sweet part is that Brando has priced the keyboard at just $48 USD. If the keyboard is actually as good as it sounds, we hope to dig deeper into this. In either case, it is nice to see some new HTPC controllers that won’t empty your wallet completely.
