Viewsonic has just launched a new flagship model of its Value series measuring 26 inches and sporting a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, Viewsonic VA2626WM. Viewsonic says that the monitor has a visible surface of 25.5″ and that the panel offers a 5ms response time. The monitor comes with HDMI,VGA and DVI inputs and like with most new LCD monitors, Viewsonic has added software that optimizes the contrast ratio and brings it up to 6000:1, while the base value is 800:1.
Like the rest of the models of the Value series, VA2626WM has also been equipped with integrated speakers, but they are fairly small and blends in quite well with the overall design. The monitor will become available later this month and cost $529.
