VisionTek has now launched a new graphics card based on the AMD/ATI Radeon X1950PRO graphics card, but what makes VisionTek’s card stand out from the crowd is that it relies on the older AGP interface. In other words, VisionTek Radeon X1950PRO AGP Xtreme Gamer Edition is a very interesting choice for those who are still stuck with the AGP interface and wants to upgrade the performance of their graphics card. VisionTek’s X1950PRO card has the same clock frequencies as ATI’s reference design for the PCI Express interface, 575MHz/1380MHz. But it seems that beneath the exterior it’s actually not the 80nm RV570 circuit we will find but a model of ATI’s 90nm R580 circuit. The specifications are the same though and so should the performance also be.
