VoodooPC planning MediaPC with 8TB storage

VoodooPC is known for its extreme computers, both the specifications and price. The latest project is a pretty much the same from these aspects, namely a Media Center PC without an equal. VoodooPC is namely planning a Media Center PC with 16 harddrives with a total capacity at 8TB, 8000GB. It is partly Windows Vista that is tempting VoodooPC as Vista is expected to drag a lot of attention to the Media Center PC market. If you want a PC to store and handle all your digital entertainment you need storage space and a lot of it. We are quite curious to see how you fit 16 harddrives into a desktop casing though, especially as it is suppose to act as a Media Center and at the same time look clean.

It will hardly be its ARIA platform that is used here as it can’t possibly house 16 3.5″ harddrive. The price is another problem, VoodooPC is expected to sell the 8TB system for about $8000-$9000.
