Walton Chaintech has been expanding its assortment with more and more memory modules during the last few years, after being mainly known for its motherboards, under the name Chaintech. It has now launched some new APOGEE models. Walton Chaintech APOGEE GT DDRII 1066 is the name of the name of the new memory modules that are specified at 1066MHz. The modules are available at 512MB and 1GB capacity respectively and are delivered in dual-channel kits that will work just as well with Intel’s Core 2 family as AMD’s latest Athlon 64 processors. At a voltage of 2.2V APOGEE GT is delivered with CL5 latencies at the specified frequency. Walton Chaintech may very well have an interesting alternative here, depending on the price of course.
