At least according to Scott Herkelman, founder and VP at graphic card manufacturer BFG, future highend graphic card might require the use of watercooling or a similar coolingtechnology to work at a satisfactory rate. The increased heatdevelopment from today’s graphic cards requires new methods according to Herkelman, something which has already started to appear (liquid metal anyone?). We aren’t the least bit surprised by this statement and whether aircooling is about to reach its limits is a bit hard to tell as new and more efficient coolers arrive all the time, but time will tell, eventually.
