About a month ago NVIDIA launched its latest mobile graphics circuit GeForce 8800M GTX and now the first systems using this monster chip have appeared. WidowPC has namely launched a new laptop called Sting 517D2. The computer is presented as a gaming laptop and there’s no doubt the focus is on performance as the high-end version of the portable PC also sports a 17″ HD LCD display, 4GB RAM and a superfast SSD harddrive from MTRON. Prices start at $2,799 if you want NVIDIA’s new GeForce 8800M GTX chip under the hood, but you can easily stretch the price to more than $5,000 with a faster processor, SSD, more memory and some additional accessories.
