WiFi @ 201km

Who doesn’t want a good wireless connectino today? At WiFiworldrecord.com they’ve done something extra and been able to achieve 201km unamplified distance with a couple of satellite discs connected to a Z-com 300mw PCMCIA network card at each end. They managed to keep the connection for over three hours at 11mbit/s. The rig was used together with a Linux OS and will according to the team have capacity for over 482km! We will surely follow this closely.
