Nintendo Wii continues to show its worth and home in Japan Wii has slaughtered the native competition in the shape of Sony and PlayStation 3. According to Enterbrain, the sales of June have been easier than ever to summarize and draw conclusions from. Nintendo sold 270,974 Wii consoles, while Sony only managed to sell 41,628 PlayStation 3 consoles. Microsoft, who has never really been able to make a good selling in Japan, is even worse with only 17,818 sold Xbox 360 consoles, but the fact that Sony, with its strong home user base is losing out this much against the Wii is quite astonishing. All in all Nintendo has sold 2.76 million Wii in Japan since the launch in December, while Sony has sold 970,270 PlayStation 3 consoles since November. Wii is still limited in supply.
