NDP research has released its sales figures for July, and not much have changed since the last report. Nintendo Wii is still the best selling stationary console, but sold considerably better in July than in June and is still not showing any decline in sales. Sony PlayStation 3 on the other hand really improved thanks to the price cuts announced earlier last month. PlayStation 3 sold 159,000 units, considerably more than June, which was little more than half of that. Although, Xbox 360 is still outselling the PlayStation 3 as it reached 170,000 units the same month.
