WiMax vs. WiFi: wireless that completes

WiMax is just as WiFi a technology for wireless data transfering. Many mistake WiMax as the successor to WiFi which perhaps is understandable, but over at Techware Labs they’ve published a short article trying to explain what separates the two technologies so nobody will mix them up again. WiMax is intended for MAN broadcasts (Metropolitan Area Access) which means that the technology is used to ship signals from houses to locations up to several miles away. In other terms not quite the same as the home network where WiFi house.
