Microsoft has managed to screw up yet another thing with Windows 11 with an update. The operating system’s Recovery Environment is currently unusable.

A major problem for Windows 11 users has been introduced with the latest W11 25H2 update that was released in October. Microsoft has managed to destroy the operating system’s so-called Recovery Environment, which can open up very difficult situations for users.

Windows Recovery Environment is built into the operating system and is a tool that does exactly what its name suggests. The tool is for troubleshooting and repairing problems that keep the operating system from starting or problems that have caused a system crash. However, after the latest windows 11 update, not many people can use the tool.

Somehow, the latest update to Windows 11 introduced a problem that makes it impossible to use USB keyboards or mice in the Recovery Environment. Thus, only those who still have peripherals with the old PS/2 connector can navigate the tool’s menus at the time of writing. All Nordic news on Windows
