Windows Vista will hopefully be a more userfriendly and secure operating system than Windows XP and if we are to believe Microsoft that is just what it is going for. Now some new information has appeared about a new feature with Vista which might be very useful and save some “full” reboots. Windows Vista will namely carry a feature called Restart Manager which will handle restarts of programs and the operating system. With Restart Manager you will be able to update certain parts of the operating system or certain programs without having to reboot the entire system. On paper it sounds like a marvelous idea, but how it will work in practic remains to see. Source: eWeek
