Windows Vista has, alas, almost become synonym with delays and it seems Microsoft has made little to change this impression to us consumers. Wall Street Journal namely reports that MS will delay the launch of Vista even more, from the fourth quarter of 2006 to January 2007. “In a conference call with press and analysts, Jim Allchin, the co-president of Microsoft’s Platforms & Services Division, said that the company plans to release Windows Vista under “general availability” in January 2007.” Microsoft hasn’t many any official statement yet, but if this further delay is true Microsoft is really startying to test the consumers’ patience.
