Windows Vista will be a unusually demanding operating system, something most people has already noticed and Microsoft already indicated. Now it has released some more detailed information on the demanded specifications, and they are high. In short you will need a PCI Express graphic card with 256MB, 2GB DDR3-memory and a SATA 2-based hardrive with NCQ-support. It seems hardware manufacturers will really enjoy the christmas right after Microsoft launches Windows Vista and if even you might be able to get by with “worse” hardware the general feeling is a bit uneasy as the information comes directly from Microsoft.
