Wireless iPod tingles the mind

Apple iPod is one of the, if not the, most renowned home electronics device in the world and that we constantly hear rumours and speculations about the future is not that hard to understand. Now another rumour, or more likely speculation, has surfaced, which states that Apple has shown interest in launching a wireless iPod in a near future. The base of this rumour is that PortalPlayer, a company that makes chipsets for iPod and more or less are dependant on this, has started taking steps towards including wireless products in its assortment.

If the technologies it is going for would be used in coming iPod players we might see a Bluetooth iPod with wireless headphones, WiFi iPods with remote capcity or similar. So far the sky is limit, but we can really see how the  iPod fans are drewling in hope of new products from Apple.
