The computer mouse have looked pretty much the same for centuries and even if several have managed to stand out with various odd designs, the base is the same, as is the material. Russian designer AlestRukov is one who finally grew tired of the plastic material and launch a collection of handmade mice, made from different kinds of wood. beneath the delicate smooth wooden exterior sits an optical sensor at 1600 dpi and some unique functionality like volume control in the mouse wheel.
The mouse can be had in four different exotic types of wood from countries like Sierra Leone Cameron and Sri Lanka. Handmade products are usually priced higher and these are no exception. Prices start at around 1000€ up to 1200€ for the most exclusive models.
