Xbox 360 isn’t meant to be a huge source of income to Microsoft. So far it’s still working on establishing the brand and console, even though 5 years have passed. June 30, 2006, the fiscal year of 2006 ended for Microsoft and its section for home entertainment reported a loss of $1.26 billions, mainly because of Xbox 360.

If Microsoft is really aiming to be make money on Xbox 360 in 2008 they have to be expecting a big boost up until then and if we look at the predictions we’ve seen from analysts and community experts we can’t say we see the same bright future.
