Xbox 360 has now been granted 125 new features and even if it almost sounds like a completely new version of the video game console it is just a software update. Microsoft has tuned pretty much everything with its console, ranging from general system optimizations to new functions with the console’s music and DVD spelar player software. Some of the new features it has introduced is Download Manager which will keep track of all of yoru downloads in the background, but also the possibility to turn off sound effects while browsing the user interface. The system performance has also been improved when using Xbox 360 as Media Center Extender together with a Media Center 2005 PC.
Microsoft will distribute the new update to all Xbox Live Silver and Guld members so the loads of features will be available to all Xbox 360 users. A complete list of the 125 new features Microsoft has baked into the new software can be found at Xbox.com.
