Xbox 360 – Piracy strikes

Xbox 360 has been equipped with a sturdy shell to protect it from modifications of various types, both esthetical and the kind that makes illegal activities possible. So far no one has been able to create a fully functional modchip to the consoles, but this hasn’t stopped a group calling itself PI from already starting to leak Xbox 360 games. Rumours claim that the first modchip will be available sometime in January though. Microsoft is pretty calm about it though as they trust their security measures, both when it comes to the software and the hardware. If you ask me this is one of the most obvious news I ever had to type, the question was just when.
