We’ve earlier reported on Ars Technica’s article series on the hardware inside the Xbox 360. They among others discussed the processor in part one but never got into details, something they saved for part 2 that has been publlished now. They’ve gone deep inside the center of the Xenon-processor that is the heart of the Xbox 360 and taken a closer look at how the three cores will handle its task and in what way it will do it. The processor is a lot different compared to the older XboX and today’s PC-processors, something you will clearly see. If you want to know more about the processor in Xbox 360 and how and why the designers have done what they’ve done we can truly recommend Ars Technica’s article series.
