Rumors have been going back and forth whether Microsoft will lower the price of Xbox 360 during the fall or not and considering that the video game console will celebrate its one year anniversery at the end of November it seems quite likely. But at the same time Microsoft has said that it has no plans for a price cut and has among other things mentioned PlayStation 3 and its considerably higher price in the process. Now more information says that there are no plans for a price cut this fall and that those waiting for better prices will have to wait for a long time. We are convinced Microsoft will stick to its original price plan, unless PS3 and Nintendo Wii starts hurting the Xbox 360 sales too much, but at the same time it is most likely prepared to make a swift cut to make a the situation even worse for the competition.
