Zalman has shown the coming graphics card cooler VF3000 during CES in Las Vegas. The cooler will launch in two versions, one for AMD and one for NVIDIA, and looks real stable with copper base and five copper heatpipes that transfers the heat to the beefy aluminum heatsink. The heatsink sports two large 92mm fans for keeping the graphics card cool and quiet.
The cooler will ship with additional heatsinks for the memory modules, but from what it looks like you will have to solve cooling of mosfets and other components on your own. Zalman VF3000A supports ATI Radeon HD 5850 and HD 5870 while VF3000N is designed for NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 265, 275, 280/285 cards.
When and at what price the cooler will appear was not revealed.
