DisplayPort is predicted to become the next video interface for PCs, but even if we have already seen a couple of graphics cards and monitors using the interface it is still waiting for the big break. One of the graphics cards makers that have embraced the new interface is Zotac that has presented several GeForce 8-based graphics cards with DisplayPort outputs. It has now announced a more powerful models with DisplayPort support, namely GeForce GTX 260.

NVIDIA’s reference design of GeForce GTX 260 has some space reserved for a DisplayPort chip and Zotac has chosen to fill this space with Analogix ANX9805. The circuit supports DisplayPort 1.1a, HDCP 1.3 and 32bpp Deep Color.
