Microsoft launched a new version of the Zune media player a while back and there’s more to the second generation Zune than just the new design; new components. First of all, Microsoft launched a flash memory model which simply uses flash for storage instead of a mechanical harddrive and this made an impact on the design, it’s much slimmer now.
