Microsoft seems to have realized that you can’t just launch a nice MP3 player to fight Apple and its iPod family. If there’s anything that iPod does well it’s the loads of accessories from many different manufacturers, which improves the player. Apple hasn’t had to spend much time developing new accessories for the player as most of them comes from third parties. Microsoft doesn’t want anything left to chance, which we received indications for during the launch of Zune, and will release a set of accessories to lure customers from day one. Microsoft has launched its official Zune site, Zune.net, where it has revealed most of the accessory packages from both Microsoft and other third party manufacturers.
