AMD has through its VP Hector Ruiz been out on the lim during a speech at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco earlier this week and the subject was none other than Intel’s new baby; Apple. Now that AMD has gotten a foot in, or more like a leg or two, at Dell which earlier was Intel’s biggest and most faithful partner it seems that Ruiz and AMD believe they will be doing business with Apple in the future. Ruiz pointed out that all manufacturers wants the ability to choose and that Apple should not be “held hostage” by Intel. Apple has chosen not to comment on Ruiz statement and it’s hard to say much about this as it is most likely pretty far into the future.
