Xbox 360 homebrew has been a goal even since before the launch of the console and now a hacker has finally managed to make a console run unsigned code. Cpas has managed to make his Xbox 360 run Ubuntu Linux by using a weakness of the game King Kong, a flashed DVD player and a kernel allowing exploits (certain versions contains bugs). The hacker has published a video at YouTube that may not be a perfect evidence, but still an interesting video. Microsoft will certainly stop any possibilities of running homebrew on an Xbox 360 as soon as possible, which is of course sad for those who wants to expand the use of their console, but most likely a necessity for Microsoft to fight the pirates.
